H. Charles Gorian’s educational background reflects a strong foundation in both law and human behavior, which have been especially valuable in his criminal defense work. He earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and his Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Psychology from San Diego State University. He is also a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College, an advanced trial advocacy program known for focused training in criminal defense litigation. Together, this education and training support Mr. Gorian’s ability to analyze complex cases, understand the human dynamics often involved in criminal accusations, and build thoughtful, strategic defenses for clients facing serious charges.
Professional Leadership and Courtroom Experience
Long-standing involvement in both the courts and the local legal community has been an important part of Mr. Gorian’s professional career. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He has also served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Riverside County Superior Court and was recognized by that court for logging the “Most Volunteer Attorney Hours” four years in a row. In addition, Mr. Gorian is a founding member of the Southwest Riverside County Inns of Court, as well as a former secretary and vice president of the Southwest Riverside County Bar Association. Together, these roles reflect a career marked by courtroom experience, professional service, and deep roots in the Riverside County legal community.
